LVTTF held its 7th Round-Robin on July 5th, 2025. To ensure top-tier match quality, six brand-new Butterfly Centrefold 25 tables were set up with full barriers – a true professional setup for an exciting day of play.
Congratulations to Omid (2455) for securing 1st place and taking home the $50 cash prize! He was pushed to the limit in a five-game thriller by Iurii – a reminder that the top spot is never safe. Who’s going to be the one to finally knock Omid off the throne? 😄
We also welcomed a talented newcomer, Jordan from France, who made an immediate impact by forcing a 3-way tie among the 2200-rated players in Group 1. Welcome to the LVTTF family, Jordan!
Group champions Victor Chan (Group 2), Albert Man (Group 3), and Goly (Group 4) each earned a Nittaku Premium 3-Star ball for topping their groups. Goly also edged out Albert Man in a heads-up dice roll to win the $25 bonus prize!
Just a reminder: it’s crucial that the winner of each game records the correct score before the next game begins, especially since every game and point matters in a round robin — three 3-way ties happened in Groups 1, 2, and 3!
Group 3’s tie was incredibly close, coming down to total points scored. Renae finished third, just one point behind EstherQ.
