On November 23th, 2018, total 13 players are separated into three groups and played against each other in the same group. The winner of a group will be guaranteed to play in a more challenging group next week.
Group 1
LiuGang defeated everyone, including an over 2100 player Ming. He defended his No. 1 title.
MingChen, an over 2100 player, played well and only lost to LiuGang. Ming won the 2nd place.
Group 2
MingQuan defeated everyone and won the first place. He will be guaranteed to play a more challenging group next week.
Olivia won the 2nd place and only lost to MingQuan.
Group 3
SusanZhai defeated everyone and won the first place. She will be guaranteed to play a more challenging group next week.
Larry won the 2nd place and only lost to SusanZhai.
